Corx & Mathias D. – Zulu (Official Music Video)

Crhistian Cornejo Ruiz, was born in Tumbes, Peru on November 8th 1998.

His passion for electronic music started back in 2013, when he first heard an EDM Song at Tomorrowland, the first Dj he heard was David Guetta. It was his first influence, then Hardwell, Nicky Romero, SHM, Alesso.

He never had the opportunity to attend a Music School, due to his low economic resources so he started to practice on his own, discovered Fruty Loops Studio 9, and began doing his first Beats.

Everything he learned was through tutorials on YouTube, French, Portuguese and English.

When it came to tutorials in Spanish (his native language) the amount of content was low and he had to learn from other sources.

Back in 2015 Christian launched his first project, after two years of practice when he had already gained knowledge on how to produce, music theory, structure of a track etc.

After that, it came the progressive house boom, where he released a project under the alias of “Blesht OFF”.He had only 14 followers in Soundclound, but the track was very well received by producers who were already known in Dia, who helped him to share the track.

Crhistian entered the 10th place with this progressive house song, in a monthly Top 15 Drop Progressive House for a YouTube channel with 50K followers.

It was then that he decided to make a new track of this kind, and launched two months later “Never Give Up”: the track received the same reaction as the previous one. But a few months went by and he started to like the BIG / GROOVE genre more and more

He started making these genres, under the name of “CORX” That came from the first 3 letters of his father’s last name, adding an X, which at that time it was very popular.

This is how a new Project was born: he made his first Big Track, obtaining a lot of international support and personal feedback from Afrojack.

By the end of 2016, Crhistian changed once again the genre and decided to create his own style with The Groove Genre / Tribal House / Jackin.

and at the beginning of 2017, it was where CORX began to have a large amount of support and monthly listeners.

“Tribal” was the first track that launched it into the world of support by international DJs: definitely something to be  very proud of.
